The Newport Cliff Walk

A weekend road trip to Rhode Island for some would conjure up images of relaxing on the beach, eating lobster, and sipping chilled rosé. For us, we decided to take the Cliff Walk. A semi-paved, semi- treacherous rock scramble along a clifftop to peek over fences at the lavish mansions of incredibly rich old-money Americans. Fun! And it was actually fun! Fun for us and also the rich people who watched us peasants sweat as we scaled the rocky cliff face for a glimpse of how the other half live.
